This training is required for all assessors in Central Oregon that conduct HEATs with clients. The purpose of this training session is to ensure that assessors conduct HEATs in a consistent and equitable manner. This training will also provide assessors with background knowledge as to why CoCs conduct vulnerability assessments.

  Covers: Background Information, Purpose of Assessment, Opening and Closing Scripts for Assessors, Best Practices, Limitations to the HEAT, and more.

The full membership of the HLC will meet at least quarterly. At the final scheduled membership meeting of each calendar year, the CoC Board will announce the meeting schedule for the coming year. Ad hoc membership meetings may be held if advance notice is provided to all members and the public. Meetings are open to the general public. Meetings will include reports on CoC activities, notice of any new funding availability, progress reports toward meeting community-wide goals, and voting on any matters requiring membership approval. At times the CoC may need to cancel a General Membership meeting, which will be announced via the Monthly Newsletter.

HLC Board of Directors Meetings are open to the public and held at 10:00 am on the third Friday of the month. Although this is a public meeting, the Board may choose to not to take public comment to prioritize time spent on critical agenda topics and the Board reserves the right to have a closed meeting as needed.
