Intimate Partner Violence, Homelessness, and Behavioral Health: New Webinar and Toolkit

The second Wednesday of October is nationally recognized as Health Cares About Domestic Violence (HCADV) Day, designed to offer education about the critical importance of universal education to promote healthy relationships, address the health impact of abuse, and offer warm referrals to domestic violence advocates.

In recognition of HCADV Day, Health Partners on IPV + Exploitation and the National Health Care for the Homeless Council are excited to release a new toolkit, Intimate Partner Violence, Homelessness, and Behavioral Health, developed for HCH health centers and their community-based partners. The toolkit addresses the intersections of intimate partner violence (IPV), human trafficking, homelessness, behavioral health, and gender.

As part of HCADV Day, the Council will host a webinar on Wednesday, October 12, to provide an overview of the new toolkit and a deeper look at how organizations can authentically engage consumer leaders in the effort to end homeless, IPV, and human trafficking.
